         Hello students in last class I have discuss with you about "Extension of Harappan Civilization".Now, in today's blogg I will explain you about " Why Harappan Civilization is called Urban Centric Civilization"? Now let's start our topic. 
Why  Harappan Civilization is called Urban Centric Civilization? 
 
   
       Harappan Civilization is the "Urban Civilization".Town planning is the most important characteristics of this civilization.Traces of this civilization have also been discovered at places like:-
1)Chandhudado at kotdiji in Sindh
2)Lothal in Gujarat
3)kalibangan in Rajesthan
4)Banwali in Haryana
      But "Mohenjodaro and Haryana" were the two chief centres of this civilization.These twins cities were actually called "Nerve Cntre" of Harappan Civilization.Though there was a distance of "483 km" between two cities there was easily communication between them though water ways.From the ruins of the different centres on idea can be formed about the develop town life. 


Why  Harappan Civilization is called Urban Centric civilization?
