          Hello students in today's blogg I will explain with you about "Religious Life of Harappan Civilization".Now, students let's start our topic.

        No remains of any temple or house of worship have been found among the ruins.The seals and statues however point to the worship of Mother Goddess and the Three Face Male Deity wearing a peculiar head dress consisting of a pair of Horn. 
        The Male God set in the Yoga Posture and surrounded by Five beats is identified as Siva because Siva is regarded as Mahayogin and is also called "Pasupati" Or "The Lord of Beast".
         Prof-Besham has described the deity as " Proto-Siva".Worship of "Tree, Fire, Water, Snakes, Various Animals and probably Sun seem to has been in vouge among the Indus people.
